The Photography, Musings, and Other Works of Daniel B. Yasi

DANIEL B. YASI
I was born 1994 in Hackensack New Jersey, my family relocating to Freehold where I currently live when I was only six years old. I attended the public school system and graduated from Freehold Borough High School in 2012. I attended Fairleigh Dickinson University from 2012 to 2014, Brookdale Community College from 2014 to 2015, and went on to attend Rutgers University as a major in Journalism and Media Studies where I graduated in the spring of 2018.
My mission is to use media tools as a medium for storytelling through video, photographs, writing pieces or audio, and to help others who have ideas about the way they want to tell their stories but need help on the execution.
PHOTOGRAPHY PHILOSOPHY
Part of telling any news story are the pictures that provide a frame of reference for the public. The purpose of a photograph is to represent a moment frozen in a particular place, and time.
It is the duty of journalists to tell that story as faithfully and best representational of the events that occurred, and the people who were subject to that moment. Through photography, an audience can better connect to the subjective experience of a news event.

By all means: if there's a project you need help with, let me knows.
